Homesickness: Beating the Blues

Homesick & Culture Shock. Essentially, it's poor health and perhaps some degree of depression (usually temporary). It's negativity, that your poor old co-workers have to endure from you.

My motive in doing this is because I've seen some very nice people go from being on top of the world, to hitting rock bottom in a matter of a month or two, sometimes four. This is homesickness. But what is homesickness really? (This is generally speaking) You realise that the outside world isn't the same as it is back home. But read on...

Symptoms

Cures: usually, it's best to get a sense of reality, don't get bundled up in your own negativity. Often, learning a language helps you see and experience more, and access more people, and improves your quality of life.
