How to use a rice cooker: 8 easy steps to impress your friends.

Note, all rice cookers are a little different, play around and see what happens. However, usually, there is a 'start' button. Once pressed, it'll start cooking the rice, and after a while it'll do a count down of about the last ten minutes before it's ready. Rice cookers usually go 'beep-beep', then it'll keep it warm for however long you want, so you can serve some, and leave the rest keeping warm overnight, ready for breaky in the morning. Then, once you're done, push the 'off' button.

1. Add 1/2 a cup of rice (80ml) for one person

2. Wash

3. Tip out the water

4. Add water to '1 person' level

5. Press 'on'

6. After about a half hour or so, it'll start to count down from about 10mins

7. Press 'off'

< 8. (cooked) Use the rice-spatula to stir and serve. Don't use this spatula in a frying pan, as it'll melt
