Lesson Fillers > Dictation
|
 |
|
These are some small things you
can do as lesson fillers and as a transition between larger activities.
Dictation (pairs, 10mins or so)
-
Have students work in pairs,
helping each other
-
Just give three sentences,
spoken to them at normal or at a fast-ish speed.
-
Students, in pairs, help each
other reconstruct the grammar, recall vocabulary, and process sounds.
-
In time, they will develop
your pronunciation and intonation patterns, and get better at grammar.
-
You can then play "Grammar
Auction", where students tell you what the sentence was. Award points.
