Can I
advertise on Winjeel.Com?
A: Yes you can. We offer banner
and text ad space of all standard sizes. We can advertise you and your products if these
relate to either photography, language teaching (and learning), and living
in Asia.
What schemes do you have?
A: Our advertising schemes
are tailor made, but simple to negotiate. For a micro banner on a 'lead
page', advertising can be as little as US$5 per month, home page ads, and
subweb pages are negotiable, too.
What's a 'lead page'?
A: We define a 'lead page' as
one that appears on the right hand menu. Subweb pages are those that appear
below one of these 'lead pages'.
How do you accept
payments?
A: Through PayPal. We'll give
you more information when you contact us.
Do you design ads?
A: Not really, but we can
help if you really need it.
Do you guarantee Click-Throughs?
A: This isn't possible for
anyone. It really depends on the interest in your message, and demand for
whatever you are trying to promote. However, I'm sure you'll at least have
your name shown and be developing a brand presence. You are of course
welcome to adjust your campaign in anyway possible and negotiate the next
deal differently.
Can I use Google Ads on
Winjeel.Com?
A: Yes and no. You can
advertise through Google, but because of their system, there's no guarantee
that your ad would be specifically shown on Winjeel.Com. You are better off
dealing with us directly.
What's your up time?
A: We are guaranteed to be
'up' 99.99% of the year, which is quite a lot considering the number of
hours that equates to. We often up date our pages, and shuffle things around
to improve the quality of presentation of Winjeel.Com, but this doesn't
affect 'up time'. Also consider, for the time that Winjeel.Com is up, your
ads are guaranteed to be available too; unlike performance requirements of
Google Ads, we guarantee availability.
Who's your target
audience?
A: We target young adults
living in Asia, who mostly teach English as a foreign language in
countries like China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, among others.
But actually, we get searches from over 100 countries from around the
world, and surprisingly, a lot from Europe and North America. Currently, at
time of writing, our main ads on the photos subweb are for an English
photobook company, and we are getting click-throughs with this ad series.
What does click-through
really mean?
A: When a browser of
Winjeel.Com sees your ad, they click on it, and are taken to your website.
In our case, we don't charge you per click, but per unit of time, like a
newspaper classifieds ad. In many ways this is avoiding false or inflated
costs on your part, and makes setting up a lot easier for you. You can
monitor the number of click-throughs through the 'Referrers' or 'Referrals'
section of your website statistics.
But you haven't mentioned
costs!
Yes we have. Refer to
question two above. Everything is negotiated, that way if you're a small
office / home office set up or a charity, you aren't charged the same as a
megalith company. If you are a megalith company, we will negotiate the value
of advertising based on the cost of product to be promoted and expected
revenue.
